I am a Spaniard living and cooking in the Green Island. I understand food as a big part of my culture and I would like to share it.
I have been a food addicted my whole life. Food was incredible at home, back in Madrid. Thanks for teaching me so much.
Cooking makes me focus and relax at the same time, a very basic sort of meditation.
The Acorn was the name of our stall at the Farmer Market’s in Ireland. We sold a good range of Spanish products and served tapas in a few festivals. It was a great experience for a year but our pockets were getting lighter and lighter. We met great people, made good friends and learnt a lot. Definitely a very positive experience.
The idea behind the blog is to keep record of what we are eating at home and share it with friends.
All the recipes shown have been made here at home and the photos taken the day the dish was made.
The Acorn has moved to the kitchen.
