Today something more exotic. It is the first time I cook Indian food, and I am not very orthodox.
But it tasted good, so good.
Ingredients
- 1 kilo of Turkey.
- 2 medium Onions.
- 150gr. Mushrooms.
- 1 Apple.
- 150ml. White Wine.
- 3 Garlic cloves.
- 200ml. Water.
- 150ml. Whole Milk.
- 200ml. Cream.
- 4 tea spoons Madras Curry powder.
- Olive Oil.
- Salt and Black Pepper.
Preparation
Chop the onions and mushrooms in small cubes. Slice the garlic.
Chop the turkey in cubes. Add salt and pepper. Fry in a pan with olive oil until golden. Reserve in a plate with a kitchen paper towel.
On a pot, put a bit of olive oil. Fry the garlic for 30 seconds. Add the onions and salt. Cook until soft and add the mushrooms. Cook for 4 minutes.
Add to the pot the turkey, the grated apple, white wine, Madras Curry powder. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the water, milk and correct the salt. Cook at medium heat for 20 minutes. Add the cream and cook for 5 minutes. Done!
Serve with Basmati rice.
*Instead of turkey you can use chicken or salmon.
Yum!!! I like that you dressed up your rice. Rice may seem plain, but I love it soooo
