I’d imagine there is a very similar recipe for salad in Russia but it has been a typical Tapa in Spain since I can remember.

This one is slightly different with the addition of Beetroot and Anchovies. It works very well.

I always cook with music. From now on, I will post one the songs I am listening  with every recipe.

Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Potatoes.
  • 200gr. Peas.
  • 3 Boiled Eggs.
  • 2 Beetroots.
  • 1 tin Tuna in Olive Oil.
  • 1 tin Anchovies in Olive Oil.
  • Pitted Green Olives.
  • Mayonnaise.
  • White Wine Vinegar.
  • Salt.

Preparation

Wash the potatoes. Boil them in a pot with salty water for 25 minutes. Let them cool down, peel them and cut them in cubes. Reserve them.

Boil the Peas for 4 minutes and drain under cold water. Reserve them.

Chop the Beetroot, Anchovies, eggs and Green Olives.

For the Mayonnaise, put in a high glass an egg, salt, bit of lemon juice and a small glass of mild olive oil. Place the blender at the bottom, blend and don’t move it until the mix is homogeneous. Lift the blender up, mix a few more seconds and ready!

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Add a bit of White Wine Vinegar. Season. Mix and serve with a good bread and a cold beer!
