Ingredients:

  • 70 gr. of lard.
  • 70 gr. of butter.
  • 70 gr. white sugar.
  • 3 egg yolks.
  • 210 gr. plain flour.
  • few sliced almonds.

Preparation:
Mix the butter with the lard until foamy. Add the sugar and then 2 egg yolks and continue beating.
Finally, add the flour and mix gently.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Flour a baking sheet.
Make balls (about 2 cm in diameter) with the dough, and place them in the tray. Flatten slightly. Brush the pastries with egg yolk and sprinkle almonds on top.
Place the tray into the oven for 15 min. approx. Cool on a wire rack.
